AP HC: Shutdown of Specific Unit Constitutes Closure, Workers Entitled to Compensation under S.25FFF - 29.10.2025

Andhra Pradesh High Court ruled that shutting down a part of an industrial unit with functional integration with other units amounts to a closure. Consequently, the workmen of that unit are entitled to compensation under Section 25FFF of the Industrial Disputes Act.
