SC Halts NCDRC Order Granting Compensation to Rajasthan Royals for Sreesanth, Citing No Match Played - 14.10.2025

Supreme Court stayed the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) order directing United India Insurance to pay over ?82 lakhs to the owner of Rajasthan Royals for S. Sreesanth’s injury during the 2012 IPL, noting that the player did not participate in any match during the tournament.
