Orissa HC: Informant Can be Made Accused if Involved, No Separate FIR Needed - 14.10.2025

Orissa High Court clarified that if an investigation reveals the informant’s complicity or incriminating evidence against them, the informant can be made an accused in the same First Information Report (FIR), eliminating the need to register a separate FIR for their involvement in the crime.
