SC: Cheque Dishonour Complaint Maintainable Against Trustee Without Adding Trust - 10.10.2025

Supreme Court held that a cheque dishonour complaint is maintainable against a trustee who signed the cheque on behalf of a Trust, without naming the Trust as an accused. Since a Trust is not a juristic person and cannot sue or be sued, trustees managing its affairs are personally liable.
