Delhi HC: Age Document under JJ Act Not Final If Its Authenticity is Questionable - 09.10.2025

Delhi High Court held that a document given higher preference for determining a victim’s age under the Juvenile Justice Act cannot be treated as “gospel truth” if its contents are shaky, unreliable, or stand falsified, and must be assessed for credibility before being accepted.
