Kerala HC: Market Value Should Determine Suit Value under Commercial Courts Act, Not Court Fee - 26.09.2025

Kerala High Court held that under Section 12(1)(c) of the Commercial Courts Act, the market value of the property must be the determining factor. The court clarified that the valuation for court fees under the Kerala Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1959, should not be used for this purpose.
