SC Cancels Chhota Rajan's Bail in 2001 Jaya Shetty Murder Case - 18.09.2025

SC cancelled the bail granted by the Bombay High Court to gangster Chhota Rajan, sentenced to life imprisonment in the 2001 Jaya Shetty murder case. The court while hearing the CBI's counsel, highlighted Rajan’s four convictions and 27 years abscondence questioning the suspension of his sentence.
