NCLAT: Debt Can be Proved Through Any Documentary Evidence, No Written Contract Needed. - 18.09.2025

NCLAT New Delhi bench held that a written contract is not necessary to prove the existence of a legally payable debt. Documentary evidence under Regulation 8(2) of the CIRP Regulations is enough to file an insolvency application.
