SC Orders Steps to Ensure Humane Living Conditions in Beggars' Homes Nationwide - 15.09.2025

SC, while taking note of conditions of beggars in Beggar’s Homes, has ordered that all Beggars' Homes must record deaths due to neglect or lack of care. The Court further directs that States/UTs must compensate kin of deceased and may face criminal action if negligence is proven.
