Bombay HC: Missing a Few Hearings Isn't Enough to Dismiss a Case for Non-Prosecution - 12.09.2025

Bombay High Court ruled that a complaint can't be dismissed under Sec 256 of Criminal Procedure Code due to absence of the complainant or counsel on a few hearing dates. Emphasizing natural justice, the Court said a fair chance must be given and harsh or technical approaches should be avoided.
