SC: Agreement to Sell Does Not Confer a Valid Title on a Party as it is Not a Deed of Conveyance - 02.09.2025
SC has observed that an agreement to sell does not confer a valid title on a party as it is not a deed of conveyance as per S. 54 of TP Act. At best, it only enables the party to seek for specific performance for execution of sale deed and does not create an interest or charge on the suit property.
