SC: Orders DGFT & CBIC to Fix Systems, Protect Exporters from Clerical Errors - 27.08.2025

SC has held that exporters cannot be denied MEIS benefits due to inadvertent broker mistakes later corrected under law. The Court directed DGFT & CBIC to update tech systems, ensure rectified errors don’t block entitlements, and process claims within 12 weeks.
