Allahabad HC: Appointments Secured on Forged Documents Void Ab Initio - 27.08.2025

Allahabad HC has held that appointments obtained using forged documents are void ab initio and can be cancelled without disciplinary proceedings under Article 311 of the COI. It further observed that fraud vitiates the process, confers no service rights, and salary recovery is permissible.
