SC Recommends Appellate Tribunal for Tariff Authority for Major Ports; Remits Dispute to TAMP - 18.08.2025

SC has set aside an arbitrator’s award and Orissa HC’s ruling on tariff fixation by Paradip Port Authority, holding that only Tariff Authority for Major Ports (TAMP) has jurisdiction and has recommended creation of expert appellate body to hear appeals from TAMP instead of direct SC appeals.
