SC Seeks NHRC, NCW, NCPCR Replies on Pleas Against Islamic Divorce Practice 'Talaq-e-Hasan' - 13.08.2025

The Supreme Court has sought responses from NHRC, NCW & NCPCR on pleas challenging the constitutionality of 'Talaq-e-Hasan'. The bench clarified that maintainability and locus are not concerns, and scheduled the next hearing for November.
