SC: Constitution Bench to Decide Eligibility of Judicial Officers For Bar Quota District Judge Posts - 12.08.2025

The Supreme Court referred to a Constitution Bench the issue of whether a judicial officer with 7 years’ Bar experience can be appointed as District Judge in Bar quota, and if eligibility is seen at application or appointment.
