Bom. HC Upholds Validity of 7th proviso inserted in S. 2(b) of Maharashtra Entertainments Duty Act - 08.08.2025

Bombay High Court while upholding the constitutional validity of the seventh proviso inserted into Section 2(b) of the Maharashtra Entertainments Duty Act, has observed that the activity of online booking is not different from an offline booking and can be taxed under Entry 62 of List II of COI.
