SC: Affidavit Under Section 156(3) of CrPC Can Be Filed Later - 01.08.2025

Supreme Court has reiterated that the absence of an affidavit at the time of filing an application under Section 156(3) CrPC is a curable defect, provided the affidavit is filed before the Magistrate passes an order.
