SC: Employee Compensation Act Covers Fatal Accident During Work Commute - 30.07.2025

SC has interpreted phrase “accident arising out of and in the course of his employment” occurring in Section 3 of EC Act, 1923 to include accident occurring to an employee while commuting from his residence to place of employment or from place of employment to his residence after performing duty.
