Delhi HC: Right to Speedy Trail Can’t be Whittled Down because of Special Enactment Like MCOCA - 25.07.2025

Delhi HC has observed that right to a speedy trial, now firmly entrenched in our constitutional jurisprudence u/a 21 of COI, is not an abstract safeguard. It is a vital facet of right to personal liberty & cannot be whittled down merely because the case arises under a special statute such as MCOCA.
