SC: Denying Female Heir Right in Property Only Exacerbates Gender Division - 18.07.2025

Supreme Court while allowing the women in a tribal family, equal rights as the men in a dispute relating to succession, has observed that denying the female heir a right in the property only exacerbates gender division and discrimination, which the law should ensure to weed out.
