SC: In Cheque Dishonour Cases, Partners Would be Personally, Jointly and Severally Liable - 17.07.2025

SC has observed that when the offence of cheque dishonour has been proved against a partnership firm, the firm per se would not be liable, but liability would inevitably extend to the partners of the firm inasmuch as they would be liable.
