Supreme Court: Public Interest Cannot be Sole Ground for ERC to Entertain Cases - 16.07.2025

Supreme Court has clarified that as a principle of law, the Electricity Regulatory Commissions (ERCs) are not competent to entertain a matter on the singular ground of public interest.
