SC: Company Suffering Loss due to Acts of Accused Can File Appeal under Section 372 of CrPC - 15.07.2025

Supreme Court has observed that a company suffering loss due to the acts of an accused can file an appeal as a ‘victim’ under Section 372 of CrPC. The Court further reiterated that the victim need not necessarily be a complainant/informant for filing the appeal.
