SC: Cannot Reject Suit under Order VII Rule 11 CPC on the Ground of Res Judicata - 15.07.2025

Supreme Court has held that Res Judicata cannot be the ground for rejecting a suit under Order VII Rule 11 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 as res judicata is an issue to be decided in trial and cannot be summarily decided in an application to reject the plaint.
