Calcutta HC: Cannot Deny Electricity Solely on Ground of Not Furnishing Ownership - 14.07.2025

Calcutta High Court circuit bench at Port Blair has held that electricity cannot be denied to an illegal occupant of government revenue land on the ground of not furnishing ownership or occupancy documents given under the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) Regulation, 2018.
