J&K HC: Cannot Equate Irregular Appointments with Illegal Appointments - 14.07.2025

Jammu & Kashmir & Ladakh HC while distinguishing between irregular & illegal appointments, has observed that services of irregularly appointed persons who have worked for ten years or more in duly sanctioned posts after being appointed through proper selection process are required to be regularized.
