P&H HC Directs Jail Authorities to Decide Parole Applications within Four Months - 11.07.2025

Punjab and Haryana High Court while underscoring the plight of convicts, has directed jail authorities to decide all parole applications within a strict timeframe of four months. In case of failure of the same, convicts may initiate contempt proceedings against officials.
