Bombay HC: Candidate Disclosing Information about Second Spouse No Ground to Unseat Him - 25.06.2025

Bombay High Court has stated that if a candidate’s religion allows polygamy and such candidate discloses details of second spouse in Form 26 Affidavit then it will not disqualify him from contesting elections nor would he be unseated later.
