SC: To Enforce Firecrackers' Ban, NCR States to Issue Directions Under S.5 Environment Protection Act - 07.05.2025

Supreme Court while hearing a matter concerning air pollution in Delhi NCR, has directed the states of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana to issue directions under the Environment Protection Act, 1986 to enforce complete ban on firecrackers in the National Capital Region (NCR).
