Andhra Pradesh High Court: Cannot Extend Benefits of SC&ST Act to Converts - 05.05.2025

Andhra Pradesh High Court has held that the caste system is alien to Christianity and once an individual has converted to Christianity and professes the same he cannot be allowed to invoke the provisions of the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
