Calcutta HC: Groping Breast of Victims Can’t be Called Attempted Rape - 28.04.2025

Calcutta High Court has observed that a man’s attempt to grope a minor girl’s breast could be categorised as attempt to commit aggravated sexual assault but will not amount to offence of attempted rape under the POCSO Act, 2012.
