SC: Arbitral Tribunal has Jurisdiction to Implead Party Not Served with Section 21 Notice - 21.04.2025

SC has observed that a notice invoking arbitration under Section 21 of the A&C Act is mandatory. However, merely because such a notice was not issued to certain persons does not denude the arbitral tribunal of its jurisdiction to implead them as parties during the arbitral proceedings.
