SC Upholds Rajasthan HC’s Order Striking Down Rule 17(20) of Central Sales Tax (Rajasthan) Rules - 18.04.2025

SC while upholding Rajasthan HC's decision striking down Rule 17(20) of the Central Sales Tax (Rajasthan) Rules, 1957, has stated that State cannot frame rules which will be inconsistent with the rules framed by the Central Government in exercise of powers under Section 13(1) of the CST Act, 1956.
