Delhi High Court: Phonographic Performance Limited Not Entitled to Grant Licenses without Registratio - 17.04.2025

Delhi HC has held that Phonographic Performance Limited is not entitled to issue licenses in respect of the sound recordings assigned to it under Section 18(1) of the Copyright Act without either registering itself as a copyright society or becoming a member of any registered copyright society.
