Calcutta HC: Disputes u/s 31 of SRA though Arbitrable, Arbitral Awards Not Binding on 3rd Parties - 16.04.2025

Calcutta High Court has held that while disputes relating to the cancellation of written instruments under Section 31 of Specific Relief Act, 1963 are arbitrable, the arbitral award resulting from such proceedings are binding only on parties involved and not third parties.
