SC Dismisses PIL Seeking Balanced Protection for All Parties in Matrimonial Disputes - 16.04.2025

Supreme Court has dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) that sought balanced protection for all parties in matrimonial cases under Section 498A of IPC, 1860 and stated that the plea that such provision is violative of Article 14 of Constitution of India is wholly misconceived and misdirected.
