SC: No Bar on Exclusive Jurisdiction Clause in Contracts through Section 28 of Contract Act - 09.04.2025

Supreme Court has held that Section 28 of the Contract Act, 1872 does not bar exclusive jurisdiction clauses in employment contracts, which confer exclusive jurisdiction on the courts of a particular location to decide disputes relating to the contract.
