SC: Action of Public Officer in Excess of Authority Would Attract Protection if Reasonable Nexus Show - 08.04.2025

SC has observed that any action undertaken by a public officer, even if in excess of authority vested in them would nonetheless attract statutory protection, provided there exists a reasonable nexus between the act complained of and the officer's official functions.
