SC Refuses to Entertain Petition Challenging Validity of Places of Worship Act - 02.04.2025

Supreme Court has refused to entertain a petition challenging validity of S.4(2) of the Places of Worship Act 1991 which provides termination of any legal proceedings on the religious character of a place of worship initiated before August 15, 1947, on the commencement of the Act.
