SC Clarifies if Assistant Profs. in Engineering Colleges be Re-designated as Associate Profs. Without - 02.04.2025

Supreme Court has held that Assistant Professors in Engineering institutes who are appointed after 15.03.2000, who were non-Ph.D and had also failed to acquire the same within seven years of appointment as was required, cannot be re-designated as an Associate Professor.
