SC Dismisses Mother's Plea to Evict Son from Ancestral Home under Senior Citizens Act - 28.03.2025

SC while observing that eviction of children is not mandatory in every case, stated that provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, nowhere specifically provide for drawing proceedings for eviction of persons from any premises owned or belonging to senior person.
