Settlement System under Asian Clearing Union

The Reserve Bank of India has temporarily suspended the Asian Clearing Union - Euro payment channel from 1 July 2016.

The move comes as the payment channel for processing ACU Euro transactions is reviewed. In the meantime, eligible transactions in Euro are permitted to be be settled outside the ACU mechanism.
