J&K HC: Provisions of S. 329 of CrPC Can be Invoked Only After Framing of Charges - 21.03.2025

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has held that the provisions dealing with the procedure for trying a person of unsound mind given under Section 329 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (CrPC) can only be invoked once charges have been framed in a criminal trial.
