SC: Can’t Use Section 106 of Evidence Act to Make Up Prosecution's Inability - 27.02.2025

Supreme Court has observed that Section 106 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 must be used with care and cannot be invoked to make up the inability of the prosecution to produce evidence of circumstances pointing to the guilt of the accused.
