SC: Condition of 'Both Hands Intact' for MBBS Admission of PWDs is Arbitrary - 24.02.2025

SC has observed that the prescription of “both hands intact” for admission of candidates with disabilities to MBBS course is completely antithetical to A. 41 of COI, the principles enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the salutary provisions of the RPwD Act.
