Bom. HC: Long Incarceration Can Lead to Post-Incarceration Syndrome Including Depression, Anxiety - 18.02.2025

Bombay High Court while granting bail to an accused who spent more than nine years in jail, has stated that long incarceration can lead to post-incarceration syndrome which can include depression, anxiety and poor self-esteem. It can promote unhealthy behaviours like drug abuse.
