SC Denies to Ban WhatsApp and Other Messaging Platforms - 29.06.2016

Supreme Court, while examining Public Interest Litigation filed by Haryana based RTI activist Sudhir Yadav seeking a ban on instant messaging platforms that have end-to-end encryption, has denied to ban WhatsApp and asked petitioner to approach the Government or any telecom tribunal.
