Delhi High Court: Need to Protect the Name ‘Ratan Tata’ from Unauthorised Use - 11.02.2025

Delhi High Court while ruling in favour of Ratan Tata Trust in a suit for unauthorized use of Ratan Tata's name, has stated that the name ‘Ratan Tata’ is a “well- known personal name or trademark” and there is a need to protect it from unauthorized use by third parties.
