SC: Sexual Intercourse on Dead Body Doesn’t Attract Sections 375 or 377 of the Indian Penal Code - 05.02.2025

SC while refusing to interfere with acquittal order of accused who had sexual intercourse with dead body of the accused, has stated that provisions of Sections 375 and 377 of IPC, 1860 make it clear that, dead body cannot be called as human or person thereby these provisions would not be attracted.
